So, I’ve posted Most of the collages I have made on the amazing site, FineArtAmerica.com. The ones I haven’t posted yet are pieces that would not make good prints, because they are 3D, in a frame or whatever. But, I have a decent digital camera, which I have used a lot, especially on my hikes in nature. So, I’ve decided to put up my photographs, since this website makes it so easy to sell prints (including greeting cards and canvases).

And you can actually Make commission on frames, canvases, etc. How many sites do that! Add in contests, a great chat/ discussion area, and so many more great features. And that’s All For Free!!! Clutter- 5” x 7” - Mixed Media Collage
I’ve posted this already, but this is a Much better photo. It’s done in a mat-less frame (two pieces of glass slide in the side of frame), the magazine clippings glued to one piece of glass, and the other placed on top. It’s neat cause you can see the other side of the collage, which is normally hidden, and the second side of this one happens to be awesome.

So… You like?
start drawing, again. Once upon a time I told myself I couldn’t draw. But, of course I can! I have hands, can hold a writing implement, have a creative mind, etc. There was a point where I thought a drawing has to be realistic to be ‘good art’. I know better now. I spent a time of my life drawing everything around me, and I want to go back to that.
Any advice to get me going/ help my skillz?

‘3D Buddha’ - 5” x 7” - Mixed media collage- Magazine clippings on recycled shadow box. In case you can’t tell from the picture this piece is 3 dimensional. The blades of grass along the bottom are presses up against the glass; while the Buddha, rocks, and background image are about an inch from the glass. The shiny globes are from a lawn ornament magazine, and are hanging on a string right down the middle. The more I look at the picture, the more I realize how the photographs don’t bring my art justice. I hope you like them, anyway!
This piece is an original done by myself, and is still available for sale. Also, almost All my artwork is available as high-res prints on quality paper (cropped pieces and various sizes on request); Or on many different gift items such as canvas bags, t-shirts, notepads and coffee mugs.
